Bio:

having encountered FOSS in university, back in 1990, the FOSS bacterya caught me deeply and is only growing stronger as my professional "career" advances. specializing in distributed systems of various types, and in unix administration and programming, my favourite language is C, thought perl is much more fun. And so, whenever i need to automate something (anything) - i resort to perl. of-course, since my interest lies with writing servers that carry a lot of data or a lot of traffic, perl was never an option there.

currently working at kernel-level development of a distributed storage-management system, in a small company in Nesher (Israel), where the shadow (of the oil refineries) lies...
