In this lecture, we'll discuss the MySQL database server, and discuess various issues with data reliability. We'll learn about replication, and learn how to utilize replication for increased reliability, load balancing and more. We'll be concentrating on the 4.x MySQL featureset, and we'll point out special considerations for applications which utilize the new features in MySQL 5.0
